Different winds come from all directions. Some are clear, some carry dust,
some are cold or hot, fierce gales or gentle breezes. In the same way
sensations arise in the body... continue...

vertical line Posted on May.22.2023 @ 09:40PM EDT by so_teh
I don't know what I am seeing, hearing, feeling or thinking. There is just a fine quietness. Nothing that is there unusually but there is something present unmistakably. You wonder where everyone is going. It doesn't matter too much but you wonder...

vertical line Peace comes after spending quite some time just sitting
Don't mean half an hour but months
The mind sort of loses its footing and finds it is aloft
Then after half an hour spent in the company of family and friends,
All of it disappears and the business of the mind comes back

vertical line My soul is alone.
Without identity.
Without name.
Without form.
Without reason for being.
I don't know where it comes from.
I am not it but it is me.

vertical line The true feel of [today] is Separation. To have felt it, you are less a part of it than those who are creating more of it yet you still must endure it because interbeing is inescapable.

vertical line Life is suffering was the name back when Buddha said it.

Life is separation in modern times now!

Suffering has eased up a bit since Buddha's time. We have a bit less of it now I'm sure.

I would call it "Life is Separation" nowadays.

vertical line Life is suffering is the reason for the person to search for an answer to escape suffering. Separation is just the form this life takes to show us this suffering. When separation is noticed, that is the beginning.
