Bhikkhus, what is ignorance?
Not knowing suffering,
Not knowing the origin of suffering,
Not knowing the cessation of suffering,
Not knowing the path leading to... continue...

→→→→ vertical line TOPIC: A FEW WORDS ABOUT ZEN
vertical line Posted on May.02.2019 @ 09:13AM EDT by Enver m.
They ask me in several occasions that What is Zen? I answer
..joking

what is zen?

not with mind
not without mind

here comes; something
unknow-able

my life experience shows that

Zen is just keeping this unknow-able

of not knowing mind.

simple

I don't know.

specifically you don't and can't know

something like void

can you imagine it?

no

just carry that in mind

I feel more ready than ever on practicing zen

:)

vertical line Is learning something really anything other then remembering and experiencing? I don't know everything. That's for sure. Don't want too. I don't know is OK too. Very OK. But not in and of itself.

Knowing men with simple minds is easy. I know a simple minded cats mind. A dogs mind. Plus its more then OK to know your own mind. I know my mind. Every thought. Every imagined thing.

I don't know others thoughts till expressed.

So not quite sure about holding unto not knowing in mind. Well I am sure. Knowing is knowing. Not knowing is not knowing.

I personally have sought truths men cannot find. Cannot see yet. Contemplation of depths men cannot do. Unhealthy. But was it worth it? Yes.

vertical line Or in your words carrying not knowing in mind. Simple. Don't carry this in head. Its very bad zen. Totally don't trust newer zen. Just original zen doctrine. This includes the bible translations. Totally stick to originals. The first zen texts are by the awakened though. The Bible is by many and some truly not awakened. For example beliefs god is invisible but small neglected passages stating quite frankly god says there is no reason for humanity to not see me for I am visible like the moon and sun ect. Or johns dream of death and remembered nothing. Excluded or neglected. Though personally I wouldn't recommend the bible at all to anyone. Reverse truth scripture is not my thing. Way to cryptic.

Do as you please of course. But a unclouded head of attention can understand and decipher reality almost instant without any attempt compared to animals who are distracted or confused very easy as they attempt to understand. I don't mind the doctrine of attention for animals or the cyclic event of consume or be consumed. But that's for animals. Not us nor should be at all.
