Siddhartha said he would not return. Why?. Despite the wild speculation read buddhas don't return ect. The answer is simple. He does not want to engage a world riddled by Mara.
When asked if god existed he did not reply. Because any speculation or debate of what god is other the direct reality either sensed first hand is redundant. Lived means the physical body that automatically exists and not become means the attention and its weird imagination trying to be a something.
Marred by Mara. For that's what Mara attacks is mankind's imagination. Saying Mara don't exist or its ego based is both. Mara is not a human being nor thinks like one. So no its not real in how we are. Its ego based in that ego is based in imagination.
The physical body is aware ( the cure ). The attention is created ( the pancea ).
