THE SOUL
CT:
When one feels and thinks he himself has a soul;
Then he starts caring of it in many ways:
From conptemlating it to worshipping it;
From protecting it to fighting for it to death.
The more he contemplate it, the more he gets confused with the ordinary world;
The more he worships it, the more he gets lost into the darkness.
The more he protects it, the more it gets insecured;
The more he fights for it, the more it gets hurt and woe.
So, what is the origin of the soul?
Is it that some Creator created it?
Or is it that his own feelings and thoughts?
What is it in him that feels and thinks?
Is there really the feeler or the thinker that abides somewhere he has not known yet?

This is just another inquiry to explore in depth.

Visitor 1:
Normally we say the soul is a permanent thing bcos it does not change at all. Or is it changing in actual fact?

However, if one can really experience or prove that there is non-self at this very moment of existing life form, what is this so called 'soul' then?

Does it have any difference between the 'I' and the soul at all? Or, are they similar or relatively the same thing?

Where does the creator or creators position here if they really exist?

If creation itself is so perfect, why created all these in the first place for all the problems we are having now? Or may be bcos the creation itself not perfect at all, therefore the follow-up products also cannot be perfected? For what purpose is this world's conflicts exist? It really hurts the heart-mind!

This topic is very interesting & exciting indeed. Do plse have wide-open heart-mind to share the discussion. I hope I can learn something from your intelligent point of views, Ladies & Gentlemen! CHEERS~~~

Visitor 2:
Hello David, I have only one soul and it is my Buddha nature.I couldnt even -find it yet, how can I talk about its origin.

Visitor 3:
Beautiful poem...if it was a poem...It conveys very nicely the problems that follow the belief in an immortal soul or eternal self... nicely done.
