It started springtime again. Many people start to get a lot of different kinds of bulbs, plants and trees to plant and making their gardens look better after a long season of cold, dark and snow, and disasters. Yesterday afternoon, a neighbor fair lady brought a bag of Hooly Hock crowns to the d.o.m. and asked some question about how to plant her Holly Hocks grow fast. She handed the bag of Holly Hocks that she got from WalMart a couple of days ago. The d.o.m. received the bag, took a look at it and started reading the instruction printed on the bag. *Planting time: Wait until no more frost. *Soil preparation: Mix loosen soil with Peat Moss; well water draining but keeps moisture; avoid where strong wind may come. *Planting: Spacing 20-24 inches; make 4-6 inches deep holes for the crowns. *Watering: thoroughly after planting and keep moist until well rooted. Fertilization: with a balanced fertilizer when new growth begins to green. -Any special instruction for growing fast? -Maybe. -How? -Every morning before you go to work, pull them up about a half inch,and you will see them all get a half inch higher than yesterday. -Forget it, old man! the lady shouted, took her bag of Holly Hocks back and walked back to her garden. -Ha! Ha! Ha! the d.o.m. laughed heartily.
