A BUDDHIST MONK AND A BOAT GIRL
Posted on Oct.11.2011 @ 06:00PM EDT by chontri

One day, a monk had a chance to cross a deep and wide river. Taking a boat to get
to the other bank of the river was the only way to do so. The boat rower was a girl.
She was rowing boat to make money for living. She was a very pretty girl.

When everyone was on board, the monk started looking at the girl and could not
take his eyes off her. The girl noticed so, but she kept rowing and said nothing.
When the boat arrvied at the other bank, every one paid her $1 for the fare.
The monk in his turn made his payment, the girl asked him double.
The monk was surprised and aksed:
- Why do you charge me double?
She replied:
- $1 for the fare, and $1 for looking at me.
When returning, the monk took the same boat and saw the same girl. He was aware
of that and used a hood to cover his eyes. He got no way to see the girl. She noticed
this, too. When the boat reached the bank, everyone did their part and left. This time
the girl asked him pay her $4.
He was very surprised and asked:
- Why do you charge me quadruple?
She replied:
- I know what you have thought, imagined, and fantasized of me, so it is the price for that.
