RAIN IS FALLING

The drops of rain falling from the eaves
splashing against the bright brown boards of the deck
making sounds.

Some little birds jumping from one branch of the tree
to another to find something to eat and chirping.

Yellow leaves still glowing over the little creek
under the rain and the grey sky.

The big old cedar keeps strong and fresh silver-green as ever.
